Sales Account Manager – Automotive Aftermarket

A successful, industry leader in innovative automotive diagnostic and repair tools is now recruiting for an experienced aftermarket sales account manager. The company’s innovative technologies give a portfolio of products to meet the needs of the automotive aftermarket on a global basis.

 

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for sales via distributors and major tyre and repair shop chains across the UK initially, with the potential to build business into some of the European countries at a later date.

 

The role will include:

  • Business Development;
  • Sales;
  • Customer training.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a combination of sales / business development experience together with an understanding of innovative technologies.

 

Appropriate training will be given on the specific products to facilitate the sales process. A crucial aspect of this role is the ability to understand the products and provide on-site training to customers on the use of the products.

 

The role will be ideal for candidates with previous experience of selling automotive diagnostic tools, ideally be a hands-on car enthusiast, and enjoy building customer relationships.

 

Location:         Yorkshire (with UK wide travel)

Salary:             from £28,000; OTE circa £45,000; plus company car
