Laboratory Quality Assurance Investigator, Pharmaceuticals

Our client manufactures a range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products at their facility in South West England.

 

They have a temporary vacancy for a laboratory based QA Investigator to support the QA Dept in the maintenance and development of the Pharmaceutical Quality Management System (QMS). This role would suit an experienced Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemist with a background in HPLC, GC and wet chemistry.

 

The role requires participation in the Quality Management System QMS including initiation, processing and closure of root cause investigation, non-conformance reports NCR and corrective action investigations CAPA. The focus will be on NCR’s, CAPA’s and OOS’S. The role will also be involved with internal GMP auditing, SOPs, change controls etc.

 

The successful candidate will have a pharmaceutical background in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemist with a background in HPLC, GC and wet chemistry, together with a strong working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and the functions of the QA Dept.

 

They will be qualified to degree level in a scientific discipline, with excellent technical, interpersonal and organisational skills.  They will also have a logical approach to problem solving, be able to manage time effectively and have strong ICT skills.

 

Role: Temporary 6 Months

Location: South West England

Salary: Up to £30,000 pro rata depending on experience
