Quality Health Safety and Facilities Manager

Our East Midlands based client are actively looking for a Quality, Health and Safety / Facilities Manager.


Duties for this position will include:


- Maintaining and developing on site UKAS compliant quality systems (in fields of product testing, certification and testing)

- Acting as main contact for UKAS audits

- Overseeing and co-ordinating improvement actions and resolutions

- Maintaining and updating QMS for testing and certification, reviewing any changes

- Carrying out internal audits

- Developing and maintaining register of current and forthcoming Health and Safety related legislation

- Developing training manuals and audit programmes for H&S and Quality systems

- Health and Safety responsibilities

- Facilitating any building projects / modifications as required

- Responsibility for site cleaning

- Working with a range of internal technical / QHSE departments and also external bodies


Candidates should note that this role can be offered as either a temporary or permanent position.


Applications are invited from candidates with a HNC / BSc in a technical subject, together with Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor status / training


This is a permanent position offering a salary of up to £27,000 (depending on skills and experience)
