Our Client is the leader in Food Technology training and Development and provides scientific, technical and legislative support to the food, drink and allied industries.

 

Their services and expertise are in high demand throughout the industry and many of their clients are household names.  The group operates from four sites in Europe and this opportunity would be based at their picturesque Worcestershire location. This role is in their Product Innovation department working with a team who has expertise in a diverse range of foods and beverages.  The role itself is to lead the New Product Development work and contract work that is undertaken at this site for a variety of short term and research projects that the team undertakes on behalf of its clients and provide leadership and guidance to your team and to clients to develop strong relationships and be an ambassador for the company using your credibility and expertise. You should be an experienced manager and expert in current best practices in product innovation. 

 

You will be:-

 

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject with experience in food manufacturing to add your expertise and credibility to this role
  • An experienced technical project and programme manager with extensive industrial experience in Product Innovation
  • Highly effective in managing people and projects to deliver on project work to timescales
  • A great communicator to form strong business relationships and develop new business
  • An enterprising leader driven and passionate about Innovations in the Food industry
  • Skilled at developing new ideas and challenging in a friendly multidisciplinary environment
  • Able to analyse complex data sets and draw conclusions
  • Able to prepare tenders and quotes for client projects and prepare detailed technical and resource management details
  • A strong problem solver  and be able to deliver on collaborations
  • Have a full UK/EU driving licence
