The role of Document Specialist is pivotal to ensure project support across the business. You will support Project Managers and the Team Leader to facilitate successful and quality-led delivery of projects through careful management and review of project documentation. For example, maintaining and improving base templates, ensuring consistency between document sections, applying version control and anticipation/flagging of project issues. You will have a keen eye for detail, be resilient in character and comfortable proactively liaising with the business, technical teams and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the management and organisation of project documentation and records according to company guidance
  • Develop and maintain document tracking in order to provide information to the Project Manager and client
  • Support the Project Manager in development and maintenance of project plans
  • Anticipate issues and proactively raise them within the business
  • Liaise with the Project Manager to provide input into project direction and project status, helping to identify risks and mitigations
  • Coordinate key meetings, providing agendas, taking minutes and assisting with presentations as appropriate
  • Keeping up to date with the regulatory requirements of the sector

About you: Candidates may have a degree or equivalent, but those without such background will be considered if able to demonstrate a self-motivated, proactive attitude to the role:

  • Previous exposure to a professional services or technical environment and previous client interaction is desirable;
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to multi task and operate effectively and efficiently in a fast moving environment;
  • Ability to maintain a proactive, thorough and logical approach to responsibilities;
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks.
