Our client is a large consultancy company working within research, development, analysis and sensory testing and providing advice and training to the food and beverage industry.  As a result of their continued growth and expansion a role has arisen for a Regulatory Affairs Team Manager in their Regulatory Affairs Department

The role itself will focus around team management, strategy and business development, process management and regulatory consultancy work.  You will be expected to have an extensive knowledge of food law with at least 5 years of experience gained in a commercial, enforcement or policy setting and significant experience delivering on projects in these areas.  You will need staff management experience and mentoring skills developed whilst coaching a team.  You will also need to demonstrate a proven track record of securing significant revenues and managing large scale projects.  As you would expect a role at this level will require you to demonstrate your highly honed oral, written and presentation skills.  Additional language skills are a distinct advantage

You will be able to display your expertise in

Leadership and team management skills
Establishing team and client needs precisely and be able to engage clients and team members
Gathering and reviewing information to elicit relevant details that require sustained focus and attention
Logical and clear thinking to synthesise materials into insightful findings without ambiguity or inconsistency
Displaying a high degree of expertise to guide clients around food legislation
Developing your findings into comprehensible and actionable propositions that solve internal and external challenges in an effective and creative way
Representing and acting as an ambassador for the company at a variety of conferences and forums
Managing relationships with clients and external partners, preparing quotes and proposals
