An Opportunity has arisen with our east Anglia based Client for a Microbiology Team Leader working in an accredited laboratory.

 

You should have hands on experience of food pathogen testing and confirmation testing using a variety of techniques including ELISA, Plate Counting and Biochemical Techniques

 

These are busy and fast paced laboratories delivering high volumes of testing to their clients and the highest degrees of accuracy and speed are required to the standards expected of a UKAS Accredited laboratory.

 

You will organise workflows as well as delivering the results to clients generated by your team of 10 people and approve any out of specification results and report these to clients, so your communication style should be clear and concise.  You will issue the final certificates of the analyses and report these to clients also as a result of the work undertaken in your team. 

 

This role will be working on a shift of 4 days on, 4 days off, either Sun-Weds or Weds-Sat on 12 hr shifts to fulfil their high demand for services.
