Our Client is a food and Beverage Expert whose expertise is sought by their clients across scientific, technical and regulatory areas in the food and beverage industry. As part of their continued growth and expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Science Writer in the Marketing and Communications Department.
Your role will be to write, shape and draft technical copy for trade press, white papers and blogs. You will write and edit persuasive marketing materials for newsletter, web and press releases. You will need to proof-read edit and subedit scientific and technical documents and work with the production of R&D reports.
As part of this you will be expected to identify and develop sources that demonstrate the benefits of the activities of the company and devise video and podcasts that can be released on website, social media and other channels as part of the promotional activities of the company. You will contribute articles and content for internal and external communications and be the voice of the company in promoting its activities.
You will need:-
A Degree in a relevant scientific subject and 3-5 years’ experience in delivering copy of scientific topics. You will display a great knowledge and passion for the food and beverage sector and have an excellent level of writing skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts in a digestible way.
You will have a good understanding of the trade press and have a sound understanding of content marketing. You will need to be highly focussed and deadline driven and be an excellent communicator at all levels. You will use your great attention to details to be successful in this role and have an enthusiastic and can-do approach to your day to day work life.
