QC and Compliance Chemist
Salary Dependent on Experience
Our Client is a family owned chemical business based in the North West who have been successfully supplying their surfactants and emulsifiers to a variety of industries . An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chemist with expertise in REACH, SDS authoring and QC to join their small and tight knit team and expanding. The role itself will report to the General Manager of the company who has a great deal of experience with QC and Development and has a wealth of knowledge that will be invaluable to you in this role.
You will be expected to provide technical back up and QC reports to customers, take and send samples, give technical advice to customers, be responsible for Regulatory requirements for the products and ensure that all products reach the required standard including ensuring that all certificates of analysis and conformance are completed. As well as your technical and QC responsibilities you will be expected to work closely with sales and marketing to ensure that products have the relevant information and certifications for the markets they address. There will be considerable variety in this role and you would also be expected to do some formulating and use your creative side to address customer needs and respond quickly to market needs.
